
Denielle Bischoff, MSN, MHA, RN, NE-BC is a nursing leader with more than 20 years of experience dedicated to advancing pediatric cardiac care. She began her career in the Pediatric Cardiac Intensive Care Unit (CICU), followed by three years as a travel nurse, gaining valuable experience in healthcare settings across the country. After returning to Cincinnati, she resumed bedside nursing in the CICU, where she embraced opportunities to improve patient care and participated in multiple medical mission trips to underserved countries around the world. In 2013, Denielle transitioned into leadership as the CICU Manager and later moved to the Cardiac Catheterization Laboratory in 2015. During her time in the perioperative environment, she served as Interim Manager of the Cardiovascular Operating Room (CVOR) and Manager of the Cardiac Anesthesia Recovery Unit (CARU). In 2019, she returned to lead the CICU as Clinical Director. Throughout her tenure, she has remained humbled by the accomplishments of the teams she has led and the impact they have made on patient care. Denielle stays actively connected to the nursing profession through the American Organization for Nursing Leadership (AONL) and community engagement efforts. In 2024, she was honored with the Managing Success Award, a recognition she considers a reflection of the dedicated teams and colleagues she has been privileged to serve alongside.
