The second annual Nursing Careers Week showed just how much nurses are seeking connection, guidance, and support in their professional journeys.
In 2025, the event welcomed more than 15,000 registrations, brought together attendees from across the United States and more than 45 countries, featured more than 20 partner organizations, and awarded more than $12,000 in scholarships and giveaways. Nurses joined from across the profession, including students, staff nurses, travel nurses, international nurses, nurse leaders, and CNOs.
That momentum continues in 2026 with a more curated, high-impact experience designed to balance live connection with flexible, on-demand learning.
Nursing Careers Week 2026 will feature daily webinars, live panels, community conversations, inspiring nurse stories, career coaching opportunities, scholarships, giveaways, interactive experiences, and continuing education opportunities.
All sessions will be available on demand, making it easier for nurses to participate across time zones, shift schedules, and personal responsibilities.
This year’s programming will be organized around three core tracks:
The Empowered Nurse
This track will help nurses take ownership of their careers through leadership, education, entrepreneurship, alternate career paths, and stories from nurses who are redefining success on their own terms.
One topic nurses can look forward to: nurse-led entrepreneurship.
The Resilient Nurse
This track will focus on well-being, professional sustainability, and the tools nurses need to build long-term resilience in a demanding healthcare environment.
One topic nurses can look forward to: financial wellness for nurses.
The Global Nurse
This track will highlight international perspectives, global career pathways, and the future of nursing across borders and healthcare systems.
One topic nurses can look forward to: what it takes to prepare for your U.S. nursing career.
New for 2026, Nursing Careers Week will feature a Learn and Earn Day, giving nurses the opportunity to select free webinars, watch at their own pace, and earn continuing education credits.
This experience is designed to make professional development more accessible, flexible, and meaningful for nurses who want to keep learning while managing busy schedules and demanding roles.
More details about Learn and Earn Day, including available courses and credit opportunities, will be shared closer to the event.
Nursing Careers Week 2026 will once again offer opportunities to support nurses beyond the sessions themselves.
Registered attendees will be eligible to apply for $5,000 scholarships designed to support education, reduce student loan debt, and help nurses continue moving forward in their careers. Terms and conditions apply.
Attendees will also have opportunities to participate in daily $250 giveaways throughout the week.
